Dr. Schwartz had the honor of authoring two appendices for Dr. Miriam Grossman, that were included in her book, Lost in Trans Nation, A Child Psychiatrist’s Guide Out of the Madness.

Through her work with Dr. Grossman, Dr. Schwartz has become passionate about raising public awareness regarding Gender Affirmation in medicine and psychotherapy and, more generally, regarding the duty of physicians to treat every patient with dignity, respect, empathy and compassion through excellence in medicine and mental health.
